Description

From Croce di Bondiga (elev.870m), stay on the good rideable forest road toward Gorghi / San Giovanni. The dirt road gets a bit steeper until you reach the elevation of 1.000m. Near the weekend-houses of Gorghi (elev. 1.120m) the trail is gently sloped.

Before you arrive in San Giovanni, the road crosses a large meadow. If the weather is fine, you'll see the Alps in front of you, most prominently is the group of Brenta. Soon you'll be in San Giovanni (elev. 1.180m), where the asphalt road down to Varignano/Arco starts.

The track is rideable in both directions; if you like a super fast downhill on asphalt you should ride this as a climb, otherwise you should start in San Giovanni.
