Unfortunately, this trail seems to follow the standard issue for horse trails at BSF...

From Blue Heron, the trail branches away from a great-looking singletrack that you'll just have to ignore. If you do follow the wide horse trail, get ready to dismount at least every 100 yards to walk through or around muddy craters that have been post holed and "seasoned" by horses.

Although the park service has this trail slated for mountain bike use, it should be avoided.
