Closed after rainfall - we don't ride muddy trails!

Overview

Twisty singletrack, purpose built for mountain bikers with sharp ups and downs. The trail has many roots, but plenty of tracking too. Some technical trail features like log rides, teeter-totters, etc. have optional ride-arounds, but most riders hit each feature during their loop.

Drawbacks: The soils DO NOT drain well, so the trail will be closed for a few days (usually) after rainfall. Please check conditions on the Jack Brooks MTB Trails Facebook page, and please don't ride muddy trails.

Need to Know

If you've never ridden here before, be sure to stop and inspect some of the technical trail features to pick your line and size up the difficulty of the feature. Don't launch off a feature without knowing if the landing area is clear!

Description

Within the first 5 minutes of riding at Jack Brooks you'll get a feel for what it's all about. Challenges abound for beginners and experts alike. You'll find your speed picking up your second and third lap as you learn the trail.

Enjoy the hard work your fellow mountain bikers have put into building and maintaining this trail. Please keep it in top shape by only riding when conditions are good. Please do not ride on muddy trails, thank you!
