Rugged 4wd road - nice on a bike - great option to make it to Nelson Park. Goes through many parks.

Description

When riding the Libby Creek/Libby Flats area, this road is one of the options that a rider should be aware of. Using this road allows the rider to avoid the large elevation loss experienced if one stays on FR 338 all the way to the junction with FR 336.

Both options are good, and FR 343 tends to be a little less used. At the end, the descent into Nelson Park is quite stunning.
