A popular network for riders of all abilities. Mud Pond Country Park in Williston has been the focus of significant trail work over the last two seasons and will continue to be for years to come. Four trails weave through pine and deciduous forests. New trails begin partway through the network and are fast, swoopy, and smooth. Unique bridges, varying terrain, and easy accessibility make Mud Pond Country Park a favorite. The Mud Pond trails are built on a mix of public and private landmany thanks to both the Town of Williston & The Herskowitz Family for their generous access. (from fotwheel.org/trails/

The Mud Pond East loop was built in the fall of 2002 by the Fellowship Of The Wheel
for the town of Williston. This a 3 mile loop, with an additional extension 1.5 mile
loop on the southern side that was added during the 2003 season. The lower half of the Mud Pond loop is a great place for beginning mountain bikers to get accustomed to singletrack. The upper half of the loop is intermediate with some more challenging sections. The top (highest point) of the Mud Pond East Loop
also marks the beginning of the Lake Iroquois connector which is approximately 6 miles of fun challenging singletrack which ends at the Lake Iroquois parking lot. (from singletracks.com/bike-trail...
