Update

This is the route for the annual Sac O Suds 50 Gravel Grinder Race and Ride.

Cal Till

Overview

This is the second year of this particular event, if you're in the area this is a great ride to do anytime as well if you are looking for a nice gravel road ride with minimal traffic. The Sac O Suds store is half way and makes for a great stopping point for food and drinks.
Family Friendly: With many stopping points and a flat course, this is a great event to ride with the kiddos. There are also many places to turn around, or to be picked up.

Need to Know

This route is suited for a cross/gravel bike as well as a MTB, I would not recommend a road bike.

Description

This is the route for the annual Sac O Suds gravel grinder, here is a blurb from the event page:

Held on the day before the yearly Fried Green 50, this event will serve as a fundraiser for OMBA's continuing efforts to build and maintain trails in the Middle Ga area.

Registration fee is $20 on race day, but we will accept farm animals & bagged aluminum cans if cash is tight.

The event will start from the boat ramp in Juliette, GA. and head North up the river road 25 miles to the Sac O Suds store (featured in the movie "My Cousin Vinny") then return via the same dirt roads. Bring a little $ to buy lunch 1/2 way or at the end in Juliette... OMBA will take care of the rest stops, maps, rescue wagons etc... Come join us for this great gravel grinder event & save a little for Sundays Free Fried Green 50!

This makes for a great ride all year long!
