The Capitol State Forest is a multi-use trail network and an ongoing logging area. Expect traffic in both directions and yield to hikers and equestrian riders some trails are also open to motor vehicles. This is a large forest with many trails and roads. Description

Road C-4000 branches off of the C-Line Road roughly 7 miles in. It is predominantly used as an alternate route to the Capitol Peak Trail but also accesses the Twin Peaks Trail and North Divide Trail.
