Description

Thumb Butte Bypass Trail #326 is part of a network of trails serving the Thumb Butte area.

It can be accessed from the Thumb Butte Trailhead with the trail beginning just across the street at the west end of the parking area. Taking the trail from here gives you a stout climb to start the ride off with.

Even better is to access the trail from the top of Trail #392 Garden Grove or at the end of the trail where it intersects Trail #327 Potts Creek Trail which gives you a fun and fast downhill back to the parking area.

There are a few blind corners so be sure to watch for other trail users as this trail is popular especially on the weekends.

Very rocky, LOTS of loose sharp rocks. As a seasoned rider I would up the rating on this trail for the rock gardens and hazards along this trail. 3mi
