Overview

Las Llajas/Chumash Loop is a popular loop in the area. Chivo Canyon Trail adds some extra singletrack climbs and descents for extra fun.

Very hot in the summer during the day. Lots of water needed.

Description

From Evening Sky Trailhead, head back to Keuhner and head North the entrance of Chivo Canyon. Head up the singletrack and down the other side to the start of Las Llajas/Chumash Loop .

This is a great intermediate loop that has some short challenging rock gardens in the last 3 miles. Great trail for all skill levels! Highly recommend 14.5mi

Great course. One or two hike-a-bike areas. A few sections of the uphill you really have to work hard for it. Single track and truck trail downhill...
