Connector trail from the base of the Outback Lift on Keystone Gulch Road to the Colorado Trail.

Donald McClure

Description

Steep and rocky, but manageable connector trail between the base of the Outback Express Lift at the end of Keystone Gulch Road to the Colorado Trail: Georgia Pass to Breckenridge Trail. Mostly wide single or rough doubletrack trail up to the top of West Ridge for a nice downhill in either direction on the Colorado Trail: The Entire MTB Route.

Connect with any number of these trails for a great mountain ride: Keystone Gulch Road , Keystone Aqueduct Trail , Keystone Gulch to Soda Creek Loop , Colorado Trail: Georgia Pass to Breckenridge , Colorado Trail: The Entire MTB Route , Red Trail.

Start by riding up Keystone Gulch Road toward the top of the mountain on the Keystone Resort side. Crossing to the right underneath the Outback Express Lift and follow the cat track back down to cross the creek and head up the opposite side of the valley to meet the Colorado Trail: Georgia Pass to Breckenridge. You'll know you're getting close to the Colorado Trail: Georgia Pass to Breckenridge when your elevation reaches ~11k feet and the trail turns less rocky and more forest soil like.
