From the Big Sky base area, follow signs to Upper South Fork trail, which begins on a doubletrack climb just above the Ramcharger lift loading area. After a short gentle climb, the new singletrack begins, climbing smoothly across the top of Coolridge Trail and to the ski area boundary, where the descent begins.

From here it's all berms, turns and smooth flow, fun for riders of any level. The better you are, the faster the ride, with little hops and drifts, and some tighter more challenging switchbacks further down the descent.

The trail ends at the Middle Fork Access Road, where you can ride pavement to the Meadow or take the Middle Fork Trail down, instead.
