Description

From the Dredge Trailhead along Tiger Road, cross the road and climb gravel Summit Gulch Road (GH 74) passing Galena Gulch Road on the right at 1/3 mile, several homes on the right at 1/2 mile, and Galena Ditch Trail at 1 mile. A steep 1/3 mile above the end of Galena Ditch Trail, ZL begins at a trail marker and timber fence on the left of the road.

ZL climbs through a switchback, crosses Summit Gulch Road at a pair of timber barriers and a bridged creek then traverses an old flume bench for 1/4 mile before climbing through a series of switchbacks above a house: the trail high point.

Descend south back to the old flume and pedal to Galena Gulch Road, crossing Bookcase Trail. There is a pair of timber barriers at Galena Gulch Road. Cross the road, another bridged creek, and ascend the final, short climb.

Top out and descend across gravel Rac Jac Way (note: no timber barriers at this road crossing), through a meadow and contour below power lines in a clear-cut to a 3/4 mile descent passing through a number of features: berms, gaps, etc.

Descend to a large flume ditch (this is actually the extreme western end of Galena Ditch). Turn left on the ditch contouring to and across paved Discovery Hill Drive to a final singletrack descent to the Discovery Ridge singletrack.

Go right on Discovery Ridge to return to Tiger Road, or left and and descend to The Ledge, Gold Run Road, Tom's Baby, etc.

Moderate but smooth climbing to some nice meadow riding and well built flow trail. Flat rocky section near the bottom
