This trail continues far past where it's shown ending here. A newly established (summer 2015) wilderness area had limited bicycle access to this portion of the trail.

Description

Livingston Mill-Castle Divide starts at an intersection with Washington Lake Creek trail. Right away it's steep and steady, climbing through several switchbacks all the way to the Chamberlain Basin Divide.. well...it used to be. You'll be stopped short of the divide on your bike but it might be worth hiking to the divide, simply for the stellar views of Castle Peak and Chamberlain Basin.
