A very popular trail along Bennie Creek.

Overview

This track covers what used to be the Bennie Creek Trail AND the Bennie Creek Cutoff. The trails have been combined by the Forest Service.

Description

The Bennie Creek Trail is a nice trail through a mixed environment including aspens, open meadow and coniferous forest. The trail follows Bennie Creek which flows year-round most years. There are some cool beaver dams along the way which make nice, still pools in the creek.

Fun rowdy dh, best if shuttled. I actually park at the bottom on weekends and hitch rides to the top from people heading up the road. Aug 25, 2017
