Mostly Dry, Some Mud, Fallen Trees - As with most trail in NEA. The black loops needs some love. A little dirt would go a long ways and making the burms rip-able History

Craighead Forest Park's most challenging Loop. Some expert terrain and obstacles.

City Park is open 365 days a year, 6 am to 10 pm.

This trail's rock drops, gravity cavities, cliff hanging sections of trail, and short punchy climbs on the Crowleys Ridge rooty, gravelly surface will challenge even the most seasoned rider. The Black Loop takes you on all of the outer trails of Forest Loop Road. This is Craighead Forest Park's most challenging terrain, and it's purposefully rugged.

Tried to string multiple loops together, had trouble because of the leaves. Cool trail system. Don't forget to check out the pump track.

Not all that difficult of a trail. There are a few steep sections but you can either skip them or they are not that serious. A lot of roots. Maintenance was not the best. There seemed to be a lot of trash and atv's especially in certain sections. Even the cemetery threw its trash over the fence onto the trail. Nice amenity to have in the area though! Nice new maintenance stand and gazebo! Mar 22, 2017
good alternative to the options in Memphis and only around an hour away. Better off going all the way to Hot Springs or the Caddo Valley area if you have time. Will continue to ride here as it has its issues but still a great time. A little more maintenance and regulation of ATV's would improve things a great deal. Always have to hand it to the folks who make decent trails happen in the delta! Mar 22, 2017

This was pretty good. I had alot more fun on the Green, Blue and Yellow trails. Tent camped in an RV slot about 5 feet from the Green trail! Drove almost 4 hours to get here and will certainly return. I was impressed with the whole park setup, very impressed. The people of Jonesboro should be proud. People were super friendly.
