This is a quick and fun trail which runs along an old log flume from 100+ years ago. This flume creates the type of elevation and cliff-hanger type topography we don't normally see around here. There are a couple of short, steep climbs along the way. One of the two may require hike-a-bike for beginner riders. Please note that this trail intersects another unnamed trail, so go "straight" when you come to this point. The trail was named in honor of our friend, Matt Wantz, who was shot and killed on December 11, 2000 while working at his bike shop.
