Update

The first of several new trails planned for the Powder Mountain Ski area.

Mike Trent

Description

Heavy construction on access roads.
This trail features great views of the valley from over 8000' at the Powder Mountain Ski Resort. Fast and flowy singletrack with several A/B line options to make it interesting for any level of rider. Set up as a loop, this trail is can be ridden clockwise, counter clockwise or one can stop at the doubletrack and double the distance to nearly 12 miles as an out-and-back.

While flowing in and out of alpine meadows, into pine and aspen groves this trail has fun features such as small double jumps, whoops and nicely banked turns. The majority of the trail is smooth clay singletrack, but builders have added rock slabs in several areas to add a mild technical element and keep things interesting.

Minimal climbing and easy technical elements make this a great ride for beginners and younger riders. With more trail planned in 2015, this area is one of the best new destinations in the Ogden area.

The best trial of the year for me. It's the first of November a little warm for this time of the year but it had mud and a little bit of snow. 6.9mi

Great trail. Could use a little more signage to navigate but overall not hard to get around.
