“A mostly downhill ride over rocks and roots. Can be very technical in parts.”
— Bryan Sell
State Game Lands hunting seasons apply.
This trail starts out from an intersection with the Appalachian trail. It descends along the ridge to Miller's Gap where a modest uphill begins over roots and rocks. It continues along the Blue Mountain Ridge with a little bit of flow and smoothness. The short downhill to Lamb's Gap can be very fast, but watch out for erosion control barriers. Cross Lamb's gap and get into the most technical section with a sharp downhill over some serious rocks. There is a small drop in there if you like. Continue slightly downhill through some older forest canopy for a pleasant ride down to a creek crossing. After this is some hike and biking through an area where a number of dead trees have fell across the trail. Don't worry, you'll be rewarded with some fast downhill shortly thereafter to Tower Road.
