It starts in "Fraser" and ends at "Winter Park Resort" with numerous options for added loops or bailouts along the way.

Description

Mileage-based directions:
  1. 0.0 - Start at Fraser Outdoor Activity Center, cross and head south US Hwy 40 for .200 ft.
  2. 200 ft. - Right on CR 72 for .4 miles.
  3. 0.4 - Right on CR 721 for .8 miles
  4. 1.2 - Cross road and left on Givelo Trail for 1.7 miles.
  5. 2.9 - Right on Northwest Passage singletrack for 1.4 miles.
  6. 4.3 - Left on Co. Rd 50 for 3.1 miles.
  7. 7.4 - Left on Tipperary Trail for 2.2 miles.
  8. 9.6 - Veer to left as trail crosses Tipperary Creek (aka Spruce Creek) for 1.6 miles.
  9. 11.1 - Veer left and stay on Spruce Creek Trail for 1.8 miles.
  10. 12.9 - Right on FS 160, then immediate left on FS 15 for 0.2 miles.
  11. 13.1 - Left on Flume singletrack for 2.2 miles.
  12. 15.3 - Right on Chainsaw singletrack for 2.5 miles.
  13. 17.8 - Right on FS 158 for 0.2 miles.
  14. 18.0 - Left on Elk Meadow Trail for 1 mile.
  15. 19.0 - Left on D2 jeep road for 1.2 miles.
  16. 20.2 -Left on FS 894.2D for 0.5 miles.
  17. 20.7 - Left on WTB singletrack for 1.8 miles.
  18. 22.5 - Left on D4 trail for 1.2 miles.
  19. 23.7 - Right on FS 148 dirt road for 0.9 miles.
  20. 24.6 - Left on Vasquez Ford for 0.1 miles.
  21. 24.7 - Merge left and then left again on Blue Sky singletrack for 1.4 miles.
  22. 26.1 - After crossing Little Vasquez Creek, left on FS 156 dirt road for 0.1 miles.
  23. 26.2 - Right on Ice Hill singletrack for 0.9 miles.
  24. 27.1 - Right on Lower Cherokee singletrack for 0.8 miles.
  25. 27.9 - Left on Tunnel Hill Trail dirt road for 1 mile.
  26. 28.9 - Left on Tunnel Hill Trail singletrack 0.7 miles.
  27. 29.6 - Finish at Base Village at Winter Park Resort.

History & Background

This is the course for one of the first nationally ranked races in the U.S. An international contingency of racers made this a regular stop as early as the 1980's to the present day.
