A great loop at Case Mountain.

Description

This start is at the bottom of Birch Mountain Road in Manchester, CT. There is a parking lot called Case Pond Lot. The route starts off with a climb that is about 1 mile where you intersect with the Blue Dot trail. This is a fun loop that takes approximately 2 hours to complete.

So many different places to park and start from. So many different loops to try. This place has it all...rock gardens, long up hills, quick steep uphills, fast flowing and switchback down hills. Its a great place to explore. Can easily do 12 miles and not see half the trails. Jan 18, 2017
