“Short downhiller's alternative to portion off the lower XC Loop.”
— Matt Goodman
This is a pretty short section, but it offers some challenging, rugged downhill for those so inclined. This portion (also marked as "super D" course) is almost all downhill, but there are a couple of pedaling sections. It's a bit narrower than some of the other hugely bermed downhill runs at Mont du Lac, and there certainly is some technical skill required here.
There is a wooden 'drop' part way down, roughly 2.5 feet high.
