Description

This trail is mostly paved with blacktop and extends past the waterfalls around Great Falls along the Missouri River. It is used by walkers, joggers, skaters and bicyclists and a variety of wildlife can be viewed along its path. The trail meanders along the Missouri River, goes through Giant Springs State Park and well beyond. If you enjoy nature, this is a place to be.

There are many trailhead parking areas and good access routes to the Trail from Great Falls. The paved trail shown here also extends onto the north side of the river.

Flying insects can be excessive in some seasons. Be sure to wear your sunglasses.
