Description

Stairway to Heaven is the main route into Copper Harbor on the east side of the trail system. It features a series of elevated boardwalks that guide you through rocky and steep terrain. Take it easy on your first time through to get a feel for the exposure and balance on the boardwalks.

Starting at an intersection with Der We Went and Here We Go, Stairway rolls out on a short, level and elevated boardwalk before transitioning to dirt.

From there, the route alternates between short sections of boardwalk and dirt until a big right-hand turn. At this point, you'll be on a long boardwalk section that descends through a gap between two steep rock hillsides.

The trail ends with a quick left-hand drop off the wood and down a rock face to the bottom of the mountain.

Stay right to ride flat and easy trail back to town. Stay left to go on Garden Brook and access other trails in the system.

An amazing section and perfect finish to other trails. Features a long, long section of descending wooden bridge. A lot of work went into the build.

A great finish to a fantastic trail system. A long, flowing, downhill ramp that's well constructed.
