Overview

Indy is sometimes referred to as Marquette Heights Trail. The trail is located between La Salle boulevard in Marquette Heights and I-474. Indy consists of 12 miles of pure singletrack for hike & bike use. It has many challenging hills and descents, and plenty of logs and natural obstacles.

Description

Indy is sometimes referred to as Marquette Heights Trail. The trail is located between La Salle boulevard in Marquette Heights and I-474. Indy consists of 12 miles of pure singletrack for hike & bike use. It has many challenging hills and descents, and plenty of logs and natural obstacles.

You can ride a full loop of Indy starting at the (small) Lasalle Blvd parking area, riding trails #1 through 6. Another popular starting area is the larger parking lot near the ball diamonds on Lasalle. This will put you on the trails at trail #5, then you can ride 6, 1, 2, 3, and end on #4.

Indy holds a classic XC TT race every year.
