A fun, rolling singletrack alternate downhill from the top of Hidden Mesa.

Stephen McLaughlin

Overview

Description

The trail is an offshoot of the Hidden Mesa trail. It adds a little extra distance and some fun singletrack descent or an easier climb than Hidden Mesa.

From the west end of the Rim Loop Trail, this trail departs to the north just past "Mesa Top Junction West". The trail meanders gently downhill around the mesa top for a few hundred yards before descending off of the mesa. The descent is just fun, fast singletrack, nothing technical. After a mile or so of descent, the trail meets up with the Hidden Mesa trail, just below the "Rocky Pass" section of the trail.

You can also ride this in reverse to avoid the loose rocky Hidden Mesa trail above where these trails meet.
