“A decent group of trails in an absolutely beautiful park on the Virginia and Kentucky line.
— MTB Project Staff
This park system has a lot to offer aside from the beautiful views, hiking trails, waterpark, and whitewater rafting. While the trail isn't very long, it offers a fun ride. The descents on Cardiac Hill Trail
and the flow of the Rattlesnake Trail
are the highlights of the ride.
Need to Know
There is a $2 charge per vehicle (During Summer Hrs.) Seasonal passes can be bought at the visitors center.
This is trail features a few trails that offer a decent ride no matter which way you go. From the parking lot, the Cardiac Hill Trail
starts out with an intense climb with a pretty nice descent. After that, the Rattlesnake Trail
offers a great loop with nice variety of trail features. There is some decent flow on this trail and some challenging rock sections. There are a few options throughout both trails, but beware of less ridden trails due to trees that may fall onto the trail.
