Overview

This shuttled ride utilizes fire road to climb to the ridgeline on the back side of Granby Ranch with some singletrack mixed in. Short, technical climbs reward with stellar views. Fun flowy sections with no one else on the trails.

Need to Know

There are plenty of trails in this area that can be combined either as an out-and-back or as a shuttle ending at the base of the resort.

Description

From the parking lot on the left at the end of CR 87, continue down the road and around a gate. At this point, you can turn left and climb some tough singletrack on Out of Gas which connects to Lower Backside. We rode the road (to avoid downhill riders) to the kiosk at the junction of 2-Stroke, Upper Backside, Lower Backside and Main Street. We hung a right and rode up some sublime singletrack on Lower Backside and made a left at the top onto the new Sidewinder Trail. We then hung a right on 2-Stroke until we met up with Ying. This is where the fun really begins as the climbs are done and we follow till we hook up wth Yang and on the Low Road which dumps you out at the base of the lifts at Granby Ranch.
