Update

A quick alternative to the Ice Plant trail.

Jill Charron

Overview

Description

An alternative to the Ice Plant Trail, this trail has a few "whoops" that live up to the name. At the time of this writing, the trail is a little soft and loose which will discourage a full throttle assault. I would recommend ascending Ice Plant to gain access to this trail.

Many roads and ATV trails link the singletrack in the area.

iT IS REGRETTABL AND IRRESPONSIBLE THAT THIS SITE IS RECOMMENDING A PARALLEL ROUTE IN THIS SENSITIVE AREA. This area was opened to use of a designated trail in a sensitive area. The big whoops are given by the Contour trenches designed to detain water from intense rain storms. This project was designed and constructed in 1970 -71 to protect the residents of the city of Ely.
