The Rimrock trail makes for a quick loop from Mason Dam. It is an XC-ski trail in the winter so the trail will change from singletrack to dirt road along the way. The trail is well-marked at these transition points with blue blazes. This trail can be ridden in either direction and is moderate climbing in both directions. Overall, the trail is not very technical and the rockiest sections tend to be in the short road stretches.

This is also a great trail to link up with the Phillips Lake South Shore Trail to make a loop from Mason Dam.
