The berms are set up better for uphill riding, so this ends up being a good climbing trail. Also, MERA rules call for dogs to be on leash. Feb 20, 2016
Caffeine trail is a mostly downhill trail, although you can climb it the Depends trail is a much better climb. Also just checked the county web page for MERA (Mt Emily Recreation Area) and dogs off leash are fine. Apr 7, 2017
Fuel EX  
Best downhill trail on the MERA trail system. A good mix of fast and flowy to tight technical sections. Should be downhill only but it doesn't have that much traffic. Recommend taking Zig Zag to Depends to the top, or riding the road. Apr 8, 2017
