Overview

Must have base access or have a military member sponsor you onto the base.
Features: -none-
Dogs: Leashed

Description

The trail starts up a short grassy hill. You'll come to a sign stating that you are at the Big Tree Hiking Trail. Follow the dirt path and be on your way.

There are numerous bridges over swamps and streams along the way. If it has been raining a lot, the bridges towards the end may be washed away but you can still ride through the streams. Also, when it rains, wait a day or so. The whole first half of the trail becomes a mud pit.

Overall, it is an enjoyable and fairly easy ride.
