Description

Badger Creek Trail is located at Fall River Lake, roughly 70 miles east of Wichita and two miles north of Highway 400. The trail heads are located north of the east end of the dam, along the east side of the lake on paved Badger Creek Rd. Follow the signs directing you to Whitehall Bay Campground. Both trails are marked with signs and designated Hiking/Biking.

The south trailhead leads you onto a single entry trail that branches into a completed looped trail of approximately 4.1 miles in length and can be ridden/hiked in either direction. A second trailhead, also designated Hiking/Biking is located 600 yards to the north beyond a low-water bridge on Badger Creek Rd. This 4-mile loop starts and returns to the kiosk and is also a two-way trail. You'll find a primitive picnic area at around 20 yards from the kiosk.

Fair amount of signage and directional arrows. Good trail design. Lots of work put in to making this trail!

Found out Kansas rocks hurt more than Missouri rocks! This one got me pretty good. Did see a 6 point white tail closeup though, so it was worth it. 3.7mi — 1h 18m
