Overview

This trail is full of fast descents, climbing challenges and fun technical sections! Just when you think youre worn out, theres an open meadow that lets you catch your breath before diving back in. By leveraging 20 year-old existing pieces of trail and adding lots of new trail, weve revitalized this trail and made it one that is sure to get your heart pumping!

Need to Know

$7 day use, $50 yearly pass. No Horses or motorized vehicles. Bikes not allowed on the lake dam.

Description

The ride has three tiered levels on the back side of a lake dam. You start out on an access road, but quickly climb up onto the top level, snake around and descend to the middle level and then down to creek level. Cool off in the lake after your visit, or stay the night and camp out under the stars!

History & Background

The trails were built in the late 1980's and races were held back then, but lack of use allowed the land to reclaim itself by the late 1990's. The trail uses some great pieces of the old trails, but has so much more added to it now.

Did two laps of this section. Easy to get turned around. A lot of fun. 3.4mi

Some fun single track near Wichita. I was lucky to find someone getting ready to do a loop that I chased as the trail can be difficult follow at times. There are a couple places that you can get turned around easily. There are white arrows nailed to some trees that does help provide some guidance when riding through the twists. Mar 30, 2018
