The trail begins as a singletrack/doubletrack mix and follows Long Lost Creek through willows, aspen and sagebrush for about 2 miles. The tree cover is not thick and there are ample views in the Lost River Peaks.
After passing the junction with the Long Lost-Wet Creek the trail becomes just singletrack and also is more challenging as it climbs up into mountains and dead ends in a massive huge box canyon.
Moderately steep. Uneven terrain with small rocks or roots.
Sizable rocks & roots. Steep sections.
Steep. Some technical terrain and limited alternate lines.
Very steep. Technical terrain with no alternate lines.
