The trail starts by climbing up a grassy sagebrush draw and drops over a saddle into fir trees. It then travels up more sagebrush through a draw and past an old horse watering trough.
Next are more saddles to negotiate through sagebrush and scattered fir trees. The rolling terrain leads past a duck pond then on to aspen and fir trees to the north.
You'll finish out on an open grassy ridge on the top where it swings to the north to clumped fir trees before finally finishing out in the Big Creek Drainage.
Moderately steep. Uneven terrain with small rocks or roots.
Sizable rocks & roots. Steep sections.
Steep. Some technical terrain and limited alternate lines.
Very steep. Technical terrain with no alternate lines.
