Description

This course is mainly tight twisting Singletrack. The ride starts near the pavilion and enters into the woods along the long earth berm. Once you enter the woods you'll be treated to a slightly wider more beginner friendly section of trail. This section of trail contains a nice wooden berm and smooth singletrack. Climbing out of the woods near the Pump track you'll cross the open area again and into the woods. You'll be greeted with a small downhill with an opportunity to jump and a small creek crossing. Once you cross the creek you'll climb back up and follow the trail to the left.

This starts out the lower section which includes a couple of bridge crossings before you start climbing. After the long bridge, there is an intersection you'll continue straight and bypass the right turn. You'll now be climbing up to a small ridge where you'll end up making a sharp 180-degree left-hand turn. Following the trail, you'll pass a small earth berm and then a bridge.

Now it is time to climb up to the "Overlook". You'll climb up a section of tight switchbacks and continue on the trail. At the next intersection, the trail will go straight but you want to make a left that sweeps back 180 degrees up to the "Overlook".

The section that goes up to the "Overlook" has some steep climbs and tight switchbacks, some with rocks and ledges. Once at the "Overlook" you'll continue along the back side of the trail system. This section is twisty and has many short dips and climbs crossing several bridges.

After working your way down and then back up again you'll see three red signs with arrows that point down. This is the start of the "Roller Coaster." This section has steep rooty descents and lots of short steep climbs. After riding back up to the top very near where the three arrows are you are at the end of the roller coaster. Keep following the trail to the left and prepare yourself for the trails longest continuous downhill that will lead you back down towards the parking lot. There are a couple of tight twisty spots so make sure you keep your eyes forward.

Next you'll meet back up with the main trail. You'll want to make a right and climb back up the hill. Once you are near the top the trail splits and you want to go right and then make an immediate right into down and out.

Down and out has a fast flowing downhill with a long climb back up past where you started. Continue going straight up the hill. Once you're at the top there will be a left-hand turn with a red arrow. Follow that to the trail that goes behind the "Cave." Be careful in the first 100 yards or so there is a small drop.

Follow that trail down the backside of the "Cave" and through some tight twisting trees. After that you'll follow the switch back up the trail while navigating a section of large roots with tight trees and then crossing a bridge over a large fallen log. Once you climbed all the way back up you are very close to the "Overlook" follow the main trail to the left and go down hill. You'll encounter two earth berms and one wooden bridge. After crossing the bridge follow the trail through a couple of S turns and you'll be back at the "Cave."

Take the "Cave" trail(the right hand turn before the main trail). You'll encounter some plastic pavers and a wooden bridge. After the bridge you'll go down the hill through some tight trees and then work your way back up the hill. At this point you follow the trail to the right to enter the Rock Garden. Once completing the Rock Garden cross the bridge and work your way down the twisting singletrack. Shortly after the next bridge the trail will split. Make sure to follow the arrows and take the trail to the right. Continue following the trail through some twisting flatter singletrack until you come to your final intersection.

Go straight down the hill and follow that trail back out to the tree line. Continue into the open area near the parking lot back to the pavilion.
