Description

The Sierra Canyon Trail is a long ride with substantial elevation gain/loss. The best view of Lake Tahoe is from the bench about a mile farther on the Tahoe Rim Trail - Spooner Summit to Heavenly. You can start at Spooner Summit or Kingsbury Grade and connect to this trail. The descent has many switchbacks and some very rocky sections. Make sure to carry supplies to fix cut sidewalls.

The bottom of the Trail is in Genoa and the Genoa Bar is a great place to get a beer after a long ride.
