This trail network is on a mogotes zone with some fossilized coral areas. Mostly humid and shady weather all year round.

Not for beginners trail. Mostly single tracks, some berms, great uphills and downhills with some technical drops.
Most visitors to the park are sports fans "mountain bike" because it has one of the few tracks in the metropolitan area. If you go to the park for the first time this sport, we recommend that you get in contact with some of the local "mountain bike" clubs for recomendations on wich trails best fits you depending on the experience. Some of these routes are dangerous if you do not have the right experience.
Another group of athletes who visit the facilities are fans of "rappelling". The park has variaos limestone rock cliffs perfect for practicing the sport. We recommend you view photos and video to have a clearer idea of the type of "rappelling" that can be practiced in the area.
The park also has several swings and picnic areas for the enjoyment of the entire family. The shelters can be rented to celebrate activities. Finally, the park has an area to practice horse race with obstacles.

History & Background
The Julio Enrique Monagas National Park, located in Bayamon, used to be in the Second World War a store of ammunition and weapons, but now has a much more peaceful use.
