An awesome, all-in-one, flatland trail.

Jerry Collins

**Do not park on the paved Game Warden parking lot. Use designated recreational pond and trail parking only. Game Warden will issue citations.**
Family Friendly: The pond is open for fishing (check with local game warden on base for license requirements) and hiking as well as a few spots around the pond for laying out a blanket for a picnic.
Dogs: Leashed

Description

This trail features punchy climbs and fast straightaways. The 7-mile course is well marked and maintained. It is located on a military installation and requires a DoD ID or sponsorship for base access. The trail has been a venue for races including the Coastal Carolina Off Road Series (CCORS).

A new section of trail has been built called the "Jokers Loop" which is a 1-mile loop of smoothly groomed singletrack, perfect for beginners or young children.

Great trail but some bugs chased me on the entry and exit of the trail. I'm probably gonna hit this trail again tomorrow. 3mi

Mostly Dry, Some Mud, Fallen Trees - Couple trees covering main trail. Last race that was ran there didn't take down their marking tape so to do a couple features, you have to dodge the tape.

The posted map here is WAY off, not even close to the actual trail track. Is there any way to change it? Mar 5, 2015
