A roughly 6-mile loop with a moderate climb to advanced technical descent over rock gardens.

Adopt These Trails!

Overview

This is a great loop for all levels and is great in either direction. That said, it's best-ridden CCW due to the switchbacks.

Feels like a hell of a lot more ascent than 900'. Had a blast on the down hill sections, but the climbing was to loose in most places it was hike-a-bike. This isn't a trail for "all levels". At least intermediate skill required. Recent rains may have made this trail worse than before.... Still had a blast :) Nov 5, 2015

Rode this trail on 9/28/16 and it's in really rough shape! It felt a little like an expedition. Doesn't look like it gets much use at all - very washed out and rutted, super loose and chunky on the climbs and descents (not in a good way), seriously overgrown. I had to walk several of the uphill sections because there was just too much large loose rock on the trail. Several times I nearly lost the trail. The trailhead itself and the major trail intersections were actually really well signed, it was just some of the sections in between that were trouble. The downill was fairly fun intermediate tech but also generally pretty scruffy. I hate to recommend against a trail, but until this trail gets a serious facelift I'm not sure it's worth riding!
