Overview

Stay off trails when muddy.
Dogs: Off-leash

Description

This trail starts out from a parking area on Rocky Canyon Road. It starts by winding along Orchard Creek. If you look along the open spaces and along the creek you'll see old apple trees in this area. Once you cross Orchard Creek this trails climbs up and out of the canyon, ultimately tying into Five Mile Gulch. The technical difficulty of this trail is low and there is little in the way to dodge or travel over. There are some steep pitches and in the summertime it is exposed and can be very hot, so take plenty of water.
