Deans Bank is a dedicated MTB track that offers short steep climbs, swooping banked curves, and awesome views over the Clutha River, Lake Wanaka and the mountains beyond. One of Wanaka's must-do tracks.

Deans Bank starts at the signed trailhead in the Albert Town Campground. The loop rides clockwise, and begins by climbing the bluffs next to the Clutha River by way of an impressive set of switchbacks.

Always staying near the edge of the bluffs, the ride has great views as it heads along the river. A few ups and downs keep things interesting, and there are a number of obvious bailout points where you can hop over to the return trail if time or energy is short. The track eventually meanders away from the river and heads back toward the trailhead with some fun banked turns and downhill sections along the way.
