Hillman State Park lies within State Game Lands 117 and is open to hunting. It is not legal to use the trails during certain hunting seasons. For more info, call Hillman State Park, c/o Raccoon Creek at 724-899-2200.

From pgc.pa.gov/HuntTrap/StateGa…
"Riding activities are not permitted (except on Sundays or on roads open to public travel) from the last Saturday in September thru the third Saturday in January, and before 1 p.m. from the second Saturday"

Description

This trail winds around the top and center of Hillman State Park (Bavington) between the Five Points Trails and Old Airport Trail. You'll hear buzzing coming from the Model Airplane Airport nearby and wonder if it's someone running a chainsaw in the distance.

These are less maintained than some of the other trails here, and may be hard to traverse in the heavy growth months. Wear some pants and gloves, because the Jaggers will get you.
