Description

Take White from Orange Access Trail - West as it leads you into a denser part of the forest, dropping off the ridge, and by a blue-blazed turnoff on the right, bending left and paralleling Miry Brook. On crossing Miry Brook, which is more like a swamp, White passes Orange Access Trail - North, then Purple Trail - Bear Mountain (both on the left), crosses a short bridge, and, on ascending a small dam, meets a blue-blazed Unmaintained Spur (forking left). Stay right, still with White, as the moss-sided trail scoots between some imposing slabs of granite. White ends at a junction with Yellow Trail - Pine Mountain.
