Description

From the parking lot, Green Trail heads straight (east), then has the option to go left. This wide, pebble-surfaced track descends into the forest, becoming rockier as it does so. After ~2/3mi, the path swings to the right and arrives at a somewhat overgrown junction.

From this overgrown junction stay on Green, which eventually takes you to the edge of Bennett's Pond. From here, Green breaks to the right, away from the pond, through a stone wall and undulates to the right when it hits a forest lane. On departing that doubletrack, Green then begins a climb, emerging at the perimeter of an open field of tall grass. The trail keeps to the north-northeast side of the meadow, dips briefly back into tree cover, and at the next clearing, arrives at a paved turnaround. Stay with Green to the right of the park kiosk, and in a minute you should reach the entrance kiosk.

Bridge by the pond, narrow in the middle, so watch your bars.
