Oak Knoll is our first singletrack from the Valley to Stratton Brook Hut. When you get to the Hut 360 views of Sugarloaf and the Bigalow Mt. range are breathtaking.

Need To Know

Maine Huts & Trails, Stratton Brook Hut is open full service for food, beer, and lodging. They accept credit card and cash. No dogs allowed in the hut

Description

Park at the Campbell Field parking area. From the Kiosk, head over the Carrabassett River Bridge and take a left onto Mike's Mile 59. This singletrack hugs the banks of the river for 1 mile. You'll come to the Narrow Gauge Pathway, take a left. In 1/10 of a mile take a right onto Neuton's Revenge. 2/10 of a mile take a left onto Oak Knoll. 2.9 miles you'll come to Stratton Brook Hut, enjoy some lunch, beer, and the view.
Head back down Oak Knoll and return the way you came.
