Overview

Galbraith Mountain is privately owned but trails are created and maintained by WMBC. Galbraith is open to non-motorized users except for hunting and fishing. The area is an ongoing site for logging operations so visitors should be on the lookout for temporary trail closures. Trails are multi-use; expect traffic in both directions and yield to hikers and equestrian users.

Description

Cougar is a fairly basic trail with pleasant views and mild climbing as it links 187 towards Cabin. Cougar can be ridden in either direction. A couple of rooty spot and a tendency to hold puddles makes this a little more challenging in the wetter months.
