Galbraith Mountain is privately owned but trails are created and maintained by WMBC. Galbraith is open to non-motorized users except for hunting and fishing. The area is an ongoing site for logging operations so visitors should be on the lookout for temporary trail closures. Trails are multi-use; expect traffic in both directions and yield to hikers and equestrian users.
Although Kaya takes riders through relatively open trees, sightlines are still limited for much of the trail due to vegetation and embankments. Subsequently, the setting makes riders feel quickly enveloped by nature. Although not as easy as the Bunny Trail
due to elevation gain, switchbacks and some obstacles, Kaya is still an approachable and enjoyable ride for new or leisurely riders.
Kaya can be ridden in either direction and is accessed from the south by RD 1100.
