Complex cross-country trail worth a good pedal.

Eric Ashley

Overview

Galbraith Mountain is privately owned but trails are created and maintained by WMBC. Galbraith is open to non-motorized users except for hunting and fishing. The area is an ongoing site for logging operations so visitors should be on the lookout for temporary trail closures. Trails are multi-use; expect traffic in both directions and yield to hikers and equestrian users.

Description

This trail is a cross country rider's joy - serving up snaking turns, undulating gradients, and sharp off-camber turns. Riding smoothly on Dog Patch requires decisive bike handling at both low and high speeds.

A great pedal, in either direction, for the XC rider or for those wanting to hone their trail skills.
