3.2 mile long, mostly handbuilt intermediate trail beginning at the Trail of the Ancients at Signposts 19 and 20, and descends through beautiful, wild, and rugged hollows down to the South Bench Loop Trail at Signpost 21, then continues past Signpost 22 through a swoopy downhill flow section to Knuckles Creek at Signpost 23.

From the creek, the Azalea Connect Trail trail heads up toward Knuckles Creek Road (FR 1476) at Signpost 25 and back up to the Knuckles Creek Trailhead.

Alternatively, the Knuckles Creek Road doubletrack can be followed up the creek past Signpost 24 to Signpost 26 and the Knucklehead Trail intersection.

The Azalea Falls trail connects to the Trail of the Ancients, the Sidewinder Trail , the South Bench Loop Trail Knucklehead Trail West and Knucklehead Trail East
